The Season of Hope

The Season of Hope

The Winter Solstice is coming up next week representing a time for rebirth and renewal. As the year closes out, our energy is shifting to release all that stagnant, stuck energy we've accumulated during the year, hoping to make space for new opportunities and experiences in the new year. The winter season is at its core an expression of hope, of letting your spirit rest and reboot to be reborn in hope and optimism. We find ourselves reflecting on the past year looking for accomplishments, successes and even failures. We make new year's resolutions and prayers for bettering ourselves in all ways from health and jobs to family and hobbies. We instinctively know with our intent and focus we can make a new year better than the one before. We can manifest our future reality with sheer hope and promise.

It may sound corny and half-hearted when people say to make new year's resolutions, but doing so can be a very powerful and effective way to let in more of whatever you need. Need more rest, joy, laughter or health? Let your resolutions be your template for letting in more of whatever your soul is craving.

Prepare for the new year by setting aside time to process the past year and contemplate what changes you want for yourself. If you feel stuck, spend time in meditation. Ask what your soul needs in the coming year. If weather allows, spend time outdoors grounding and connecting with Mother Earth. She is resting and resetting as well. Her energy is very soothing this time of year. Schedule an energy healing session to clear your energy field and allow in more hope and abundance. When you feel like your resolutions are exactly what you need, take the time to share your gratitude for the past year and the lessons you've learned. Be grateful for this life and prepare for all the blessings you've set in motion for yourself in the new year!
